19-21 Ekim tarihlerinde d\u00fczenlenen ve farkl\u0131 \u00fclkelerden yerel y\u00f6netim temsilcileri ile uzmanlar\u0131 bulu\u015fturan organizasyonda, 2030 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlilik kayb\u0131n\u0131 durdurmaya ve do\u011fay\u0131 yeniden canland\u0131rmaya y\u00f6nelik ortak ad\u0131mlar ele al\u0131nd\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca toplant\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda d\u00fczenlenen t\u00f6renle \u0130rlanda’n\u0131n Dublin, Macaristan’\u0131n Veszpr\u00e9m ve Portekiz’in Matosinhos kentleri de Berlin Kentsel Do\u011fa Pakt\u0131’na kat\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n

Program\u0131n a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131nda konu\u015fan \u0130zmir B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi Genel Sekreter Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 Prof. Dr. P\u0131nar Okyay, do\u011fay\u0131 korumadan iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fiyle m\u00fccadele edilemeyece\u011fini belirterek, “Yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131m\u0131z; insan, hayvan ve ekosistem sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki ayr\u0131lmaz ba\u011flant\u0131lar\u0131 kabul eden ‘Tek Sa\u011fl\u0131k’ anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131na dayan\u0131yor. Ge\u00e7en y\u0131l Berlin Kentsel Do\u011fa Pakt\u0131\u2019na kat\u0131lmam\u0131z, biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi kent politikalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n merkezine yerle\u015ftirme kararl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lendirdi.” ifadesini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n

Berlin Kentsel Do\u011fa Pakt\u0131 Koordinat\u00f6r\u00fc Sandra Naumann, toplant\u0131n\u0131n kentler aras\u0131 i\u015f birli\u011fini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirdi\u011fini belirterek pakt b\u00fcnyesinde 90 kentin somut ad\u0131mlar att\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulad\u0131. ICLEI Europe Temsilcisi Paola Lepori biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin kentlerde bir l\u00fcks olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmemesi gerekti\u011fine dikkati \u00e7ekerken, Uluslararas\u0131 Do\u011fa Koruma Birli\u011fi (IUCN) Temsilcisi Lorena Skuto ise sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 ekosistemlerin kentlerin afetlere kar\u015f\u0131 direncini art\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131na de\u011findi.
Berlin Eyaleti \u0130klim Eylemi ve \u00c7evre Daimi M\u00fcste\u015far\u0131 Andreas Kraus, do\u011fan\u0131n korunmas\u0131n\u0131n kentsel geli\u015fimin ve planlaman\u0131n temel bir par\u00e7as\u0131 olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini s\u00f6ylerken, Dublin Belediye Ba\u015fkan Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 Alison Field ise kentlerde ye\u015fil alanlar\u0131n art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ve yerel g\u0131da \u00fcretiminin desteklenmesinin \u00f6nemine i\u015faret etti.<\/p>\n
