Kitabesindeki bilgilere g\u00f6re Hicri 1145, Miladi 1732-1733 y\u0131llar\u0131nda in\u015fa edilen \u00e7e\u015fme, Sadrazam Hekimo\u011flu Ali Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n keth\u00fcdas\u0131 Yahya A\u011fa taraf\u0131ndan yapt\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131. Kesme ta\u015ftan in\u015fa edilen yap\u0131, klasik Osmanl\u0131 \u00fcslubunda sivri kemerli ve hazneli meydan \u00e7e\u015fmesi niteli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131yor.<\/p>\n
Zaman i\u00e7erisinde \u00e7e\u015fmenin baz\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcn unsurlar\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze ula\u015fmad\u0131. Ayna ta\u015f\u0131 ve teknesi bulunmayan yap\u0131, zemindeki kaymalar nedeniyle deniz cephesine do\u011fru e\u011filmi\u015f durumdayd\u0131.<\/p>\n
\u0130BB Miras taraf\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen restorasyon kapsam\u0131nda, \u00e7e\u015fmenin \u00f6n cephesinin ayna ta\u015f\u0131na kadar zemine g\u00f6m\u00fcl\u00fc olmas\u0131 nedeniyle mevcut ta\u015flar, Koruma B\u00f6lge Kurulu taraf\u0131ndan onaylanan proje do\u011frultusunda tek tek belgelenerek envantere kaydedildi. Ard\u0131ndan ta\u015flar s\u00f6k\u00fclerek restorasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na ba\u015fland\u0131.<\/p>\n
\u00c7e\u015fmenin zemini sa\u011flamla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131l\u0131rken bitki k\u00f6kleri ve olu\u015fumlar\u0131 temizlendi. Cidar tu\u011flalar\u0131 yeniden \u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc, mevcut ta\u015flar yerlerine yerle\u015ftirildi ve eksik b\u00f6l\u00fcmler yeni ta\u015flarla tamamland\u0131.<\/p>\n
\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n, onayl\u0131 restorasyon projesine uygun olarak yap\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcn malzeme ve teknikleri esas al\u0131narak ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi\u011fi belirtildi.<\/p>\n
Yakla\u015f\u0131k \u00fc\u00e7 as\u0131rl\u0131k \u00e7e\u015fme, restorasyonun ard\u0131ndan Karak\u00f6y Per\u015fembe Pazar\u0131\u2019ndaki meydan ve sahil hatt\u0131yla birlikte yeniden g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr hale getirildi.<\/p>\n
\u0130BB Miras taraf\u0131ndan bug\u00fcne kadar 240 tarih\u00ee \u00e7e\u015fmede restorasyon, bak\u0131m ve onar\u0131m \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi\u011fi bildirildi.<\/p>\n
