Tan\u0131t\u0131m toplant\u0131s\u0131nda konu\u015fan B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Mustafa Bozbey, Cumhuriyet\u2019in 102. y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck bir co\u015fkuyla kutlad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. As\u0131rl\u0131k yolculukta Bursa\u2019n\u0131n kent belle\u011fine ar\u015fiv niteli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131yacak bir eseri daha kazand\u0131rman\u0131n mutlulu\u011funu ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 belirten Ba\u015fkan Bozbey, \u015funlar\u0131 kaydetti:<\/p>\n
\u201cBursa, 8500 y\u0131ll\u0131k tarihi ge\u00e7mi\u015fe sahip, zengin bir tarihi ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel birikimi olan bir kenttir. Bu birikimlerin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131 ve sunulmas\u0131 son derece \u00f6nemlidir. Asl\u0131nda de\u011ferlerimizi koruyabilseydik bug\u00fcn belki \u0130stanbul\u2019dan sonra en fazla turist \u00e7eken kent olabilirdik. Estetik ve g\u00fczel binalar y\u0131k\u0131ld\u0131, yerine 4-5 katl\u0131 binalar yap\u0131ld\u0131. Kom\u015fuluk ili\u015fkileri azald\u0131. Yaz ak\u015famlar\u0131 simit\u00e7inin, k\u0131\u015f ak\u015famlar\u0131nda bozac\u0131n\u0131n sesi duymaz olduk. Bunlar\u0131n hepsini birer birer kaybettik. O sosyal ili\u015fkileri \u00f6zl\u00fcyor ve ar\u0131yoruz. Bursa\u2019n\u0131n bu de\u011ferlerini hat\u0131rlay\u0131p gelecek ku\u015faklara aktarma zorunlulu\u011fumuz var.”<\/p>\n
