Avrupa Sismoloji Komisyonu (ESC) 2026 Genel Kurulu, Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Afet ve Yerel Y\u00f6netim Politikalar\u0131 Kurulu, Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i \u00dcniversitesi Kandilli Rasathanesi ve Deprem Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc (KRDAE), AFAD, Orta Do\u011fu Teknik \u00dcniversitesi (ODT\u00dc) ve T\u00fcrkiye Deprem M\u00fchendisleri Derne\u011finin ortak organizasyonuyla \u0130stanbul\u2019da d\u00fczenlendi.<\/p>\n
6-11 Eyl\u00fcl 2026 tarihleri aras\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen kongre, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n farkl\u0131 \u00fclkelerinden bilim insanlar\u0131 ve ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra kamu kurumlar\u0131 ve sekt\u00f6r temsilcilerinden yakla\u015f\u0131k 1.000 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131y\u0131 bir araya getirdi.<\/p>\n
Kongrenin a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131 \u0130\u00e7i\u015fleri Bakan\u0131 Mustafa \u00c7ift\u00e7i, AFAD Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Vali Ali Hamza Pehlivan, \u0130stanbul Valisi Davut G\u00fcl, Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Afet ve Yerel Y\u00f6netim Politikalar\u0131 Kurulu \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Nurcan Meral \u00d6zel, KRDAE M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc Prof. Dr. \u00d6zer \u00c7inicio\u011flu ve ESC Ba\u015fkan Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 Prof. Dr. Ay\u015feg\u00fcl Askan\u2019\u0131n a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f konu\u015fmalar\u0131yla ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi.<\/p>\n
Hafta boyunca sismoloji, deprem tehlikesi ve riski, yer hareketleri, sismik izleme, m\u00fchendislik sismolojisi ve afet risklerinin azalt\u0131lmas\u0131 ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere deprem biliminin farkl\u0131 alanlar\u0131ndaki g\u00fcncel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar ve geli\u015fmeler ele al\u0131nd\u0131.<\/p>\n
Kongrenin, KRDAE\u2019nin farkl\u0131 disiplinlerinde y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc g\u00fcncel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n uluslararas\u0131 bilim camias\u0131yla payla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na ve farkl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki bilimsel i\u015f birliklerinin geli\u015ftirilmesine katk\u0131 sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtildi.<\/p>\n
