Mamak Bilim Merkezi\u2019nde, T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Bilim S\u00f6yle\u015fileri program\u0131 \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde \u201cAntarktika\u2019ya Bilim Yolculu\u011fu\u201d adl\u0131 bir etkinlik ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi. S\u00f6yle\u015finin konu\u015fmac\u0131s\u0131 Karadeniz Teknik \u00dcniversitesi \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi Prof. Dr. Raif Kandemir oldu.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Kandemir, Antarktika\u2019da y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, zorlu iklim ko\u015fullar\u0131nda yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin kutup ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131na verdi\u011fi destek hakk\u0131nda \u00f6\u011frencilere kapsaml\u0131 bilgiler aktard\u0131. \u00d6zellikle k\u0131tan\u0131n biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi, mikroorganizmalardan deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131na kadar uzanan ekosistemin yap\u0131s\u0131 ve iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fiyle ili\u015fkisi \u00fczerinde duruldu.<\/p>\n
S\u00f6yle\u015fide ayr\u0131ca Jeoloji M\u00fchendisli\u011fi b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc ve yer bilimleri alan\u0131ndaki akademik ve mesleki olanaklar hakk\u0131nda bilgiler verildi. \u00d6\u011frenciler merak ettikleri sorular\u0131 Prof. Dr. Kandemir\u2019e y\u00f6nelterek bilim insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma s\u00fcre\u00e7leri \u00fczerine de\u011ferlendirmeler yapt\u0131.<\/p>\n
Etkinli\u011fe Nurettin Top\u00e7u Anadolu Lisesi\u2019nden yakla\u015f\u0131k 130 \u00f6\u011frenci kat\u0131ld\u0131. Program sonunda \u00f6\u011frencilere bilimsel okuma al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 desteklemek amac\u0131yla T\u00dcB\u0130TAK\u2019\u0131n Bilim ve Teknik Dergisi hediye edildi.<\/p>\n
