S\u00f6z konusu tarihin d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktas\u0131 niteli\u011fine dikkat \u00e7eken G\u00fcrlek, “10 A\u011fustos 2014, Cumhuriyet tarihimizde Cumhurba\u015fkan\u0131n\u0131n ilk kez do\u011frudan milletimizin oylar\u0131yla se\u00e7ildi\u011fi tarih\u00ee bir d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktas\u0131 olmu\u015f; T\u00fcrk demokrasisinde yeni bir d\u00f6nem ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r” dedi.<\/p>\n
Karar\u0131n milli irade ve egemenlik anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131yla ba\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kuran G\u00fcrlek, “Milletimizin iradesinin do\u011frudan Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 makam\u0131na yans\u0131mas\u0131, ‘Egemenlik kay\u0131ts\u0131z \u015farts\u0131z milletindir.’ ilkesinin en g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc tezah\u00fcrlerinden biri olmu\u015ftur. Milletimizin ortaya koydu\u011fu g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc irade, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin kendi gelece\u011fine yine milletin karar verece\u011fini bir kez daha g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir.” de\u011ferlendirmesinde bulundu.<\/p>\n
